Mae asked:
I am going to buy a straightener from Target, preferably a Remington. Please don't just say"get the CHI" if you are going to say that, explain why. And out of the remingtons which one is the best and why?
Reply:
remington wet2straight.

US $.01

The straighteners straighten well for the price you are paying. It only goes up to 200 rather than the better 230 ones you can get, so not as strong as some on the market. I got this as it also curls, although it can be difficult to get it to curl at times, and easier just to use curling tongs if thats what you want it for. It is good for styling and creating waves, flicks etc though! I already had a remington straightener that was similar which broke after a year, so am pleased this one comes with a guarantee. It is also better, and I payed less for it!!
Kookie’s the ginchiest !
Walgreens for less than $30.
I have the wet2straight straightner and I used it to straighten my hair. After useing it for months, it began to dry out my hair. Now I only use it to straighten my bangs.
NONONONONONO!
DO NOT GET IT!
IT DOESN'T WORK FOR SHIZZ!
Seriously, I spent most of my eighth grade year (when I first got the iron) throwing temper tantrums and in tears because of this horrid flat iron.
It puffed up my hair, specially around the ears, which kinda resembled panda ears,
it made it so dry,
it wouldn't straighten it properly, no matter how long I spent on it,
it curled up and waved up and frizzed up all over the place.

Visit the shop on SV Road at Khar in Mumbai which is opposite the Continental Hyundai showroom. Its a big shop which sells products for beauty salons so you should be able to get it here
